The beaches of the Adritatic in this part of the Marche are made of wonderfully fine sand and during summer are filled with tourists from all over the world.
San Benedetto del Tronto and the nearby village of Porto d’Ascoli are known as the Riviera of the Palms with the scenic walkway along the sea at Porto d’Ascoli voted the most beautiful in Italy in 2007. Here also are many locales for dining with adjacent discos and live music venues. Grottammare and Cupra Marittima offer beaches a little less crowded and all are located 30 minutes or less from Nascondiglio di Bacco.
