The southern Marche offers new discoveries for the first time visitor. From the excellent wines of the zone such as Rosso Offida, Rosso Piceno, Pecorino and many others to the famous ascolana olives, the food and wine offerings are memorable. We have many wineries within a few minutes drive which we can heartily recommend for a visit such as Aurora, La Caniette, Oasi degli Angeli and others which welcome guests for tastings and education.
For those more interested in cheeses and cured meats, we suggest the sheep cheese known also as pecorino as well as the famous prosciutto of Norcia, the fresh salami called ciauscolo and many others.
Finally, the lacemakers of Offida and other small southern marchigiana towns are rightly famous for their highly intricate craftwork and can be viewed working in their small shops nearby.
